The powerful black Snom M700 DECT IP Phone strives to make communication easier for you using its technologically advanced features. The wall mountable Snom M700 IP DECT Phone Mombasa is equipped with multicolored LED status indication alerts which notify the user of many details such as battery level and connection status. The Snom M700 DECT IP Phone Mombasa boasts of a long transmission of up to 50 meters when indoors, and up to 300 meters for outdoors use. To deliver a clear transmission and reception, the Snom M700 IP DECT Phone Mombasa comes with two internal omni – directional antennas. It also has a 10/100 BASE-T IEEE 802.3 LAN port and an RJ – 45 port for Ethernet connection. In cases where Power over Ethernet (PoE) may not be available, a PoE injector may be used. Snom M700 DECT IP Phone Mombasa uses DECT 6.0, CAT-iq1.0 (wideband) technology which not only supports different frequency bands ranging between 1880-1900 MHz (EU), 1910-1930 MHz (Latin America), and 1920-1930 MHz (US), but also supports four power levels including, 14, 17, 20, and 24 dBm. The Snom M700 DECT Base Station Mombasa multi-cell base station delivers VoIP wireless coverage across several floors or through big buildings. Each base station can be configured for up to 30 Snom M65 phones with up to 40 M700 in a placement, compliant a total of 200 phones and allowing coverage of complete office complexes across big areas.
Connected Snom M65 handsets enjoy IP phone system features such as direct search in the business directory and HD audio. The Snom M700 DECT Base Station in Mombasa supports the Snom M5 repeaters with DECT encryption to increase coverage. Wireless security is confirmed by DECT encryption, while TLS and SRTP confirm safe SIP communication. Setup is easy and instinctive and there are no extra license charges.
M700 DECT Multicell Base Station :
The Snom M700 DECT IP Phone enables large buildings to access VoIP wireless coverage using its multi-cell base station. A maximum of up to 30 M65 handsets with up to 253 M700s in a deployment can be configured by each base station ,accommodating a total of 1000 handsets and enabling coverage of entire office complexes across large areas. Once connected, M65 handsets can enjoy modern IP phone system features including direct search in the corporate directory and HD audio.
The Multicell base station allows for a maximum of up to 1000 parallel calls in 253-base system as well as a maximum of up to 1000 registered handsets in the same network in a multicell setup. It also supports a maximum of 30 handsets per base station and up to 8 narrowband or 4 wideband calls per base station in multicell setup. It has a common phonebook with up to 200 entries.
In order to increase coverage, Snom M700 DECT IP Phone uses M5 repeaters with DECT encryption. DECT encryption in the Snom M700 DECT IP Phone ensures wireless security. DECT Technology :

Automated – Provisioning – TFTP/HTTP/HTTPS :

IP Address Configuration :
As a default feature, the Snom M700 DECT IP Phone obtains its IP address from the DHCP server once the line is connected. However, it can also be configured via Static IP where the user manually configures parameters, from the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS servers. Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) is another alternative to IP configuration, where the device is connected to a router or broadband modem using the username and password from the service provider.
SIP v.2.0 Compliant :
The Server-Initiated Application (SIP) is incorporated for users to plug and play the phone without the need for configurations. Once the phone is connected to the network and powered on, initialization commences automatically, after which the phone is up and ready for use. Snom M700 DECT IP Phone is based on SIP version 2(RFC3261).
