The JBL Live650BT Kenya features a simple, sleek over-ear design. The cups are large and have thick padding, while the headband has a mesh coating. They have metallic accents on the cups and hinges which gives them a more premium look. Available in black, blue, or white models, the JBL Live650BT Kenya headphones feature a sporty cloth-lined headband with ample cushioning, as well as large memory foam earpads that fully envelop the ear. In fact, the circumaural (over-ear) design eliminates plenty of ambient noise passively, before the active noise cancellation (ANC) has even been engaged. The fit is secure and comfortable over long listening periods.

The JBL Live650BT is conveniently designed for easy use with the side panel of the right earcup houses an array of controls, including the power switch, a multifunction button (for playback, call management, and voice assistants), and volume buttons. There’s also a dedicated Bluetooth pairing button, as well as an ANC button. All of these buttons feel roughly the same, which can lead to some misfires. There are no track navigation controls.
