The Ubiquiti AirFiber60US Kenya is a 60 GHz radio for low-interference and high-throughput connectivity. It’s integrated with a high-gain dish antenna for long range and high performance. For the 60 GHz link, the AF60 supports two channel width options: 2 GHz and 1 GHz – automatically switching between both options depending on link performance. This 60 GHz outdoor dish antenna is designed to provide low-interference and high-throughput connectivity with a range of up to 1.24 miles and a maximum data throughput of 1.8 Gb/s. It features 38 dBi gain at 60 GHz and 11 dBi on the 5 GHz radio backup, with a combined transmission power of 25 dBm. Made from aluminum and UV-stabilized plastic, the airFiber 60 can operate between -40 and 140°F, has a wind survivability of 125 mph, and has ESD/EMP protection of about 24kV. A pole mounting kit is included alongside a 24V Gigabit PoE adapter, which connects to the dish’s Gigabit Ethernet port to provide power and data passthrough. Other features include WPA2-PSK and WPA2 Enterprise signal encryption, an integrated GPS, and automatic switching between the 2 GHz and 1 GHz width channels for optimal link performance.
