Description
Meraki MS410-32 Network Switch Kenya
The Meraki MS410-32 Kenya is a 32-port 1GbE cloud-managed stackable L3 enterprise-class distribution switch with four SFP+ uplinks and support for redundant power supplies for mission critical environments. The MS410 family includes integrated client and layer 7 application visibility, remote troubleshooting tools like live packet capture and cable test. The MS410 family is 100% cloud-managed via the intuitive, browser-based Meraki dashboard, and includes a rich, out-of-the-box feature set without additional cost and complexity. The Meraki MS400 Series brings powerful cloud-managed switching to the aggregation layer. This range of 1 and 10Gbps fiber aggregation switches adopts the benefits of the cloud: simplified management, reduced complexity, network wide visibility and control, and lower cost for campus deployments.
The Meraki MS410-32 Kenya extends cloud management across the aggregation layer for medium-size networks with our 1/10G fiber aggregation switches. As with our access layer switches, our aggregation switches are built from the ground up to be easy to manage without compromising any of the power and flexibility traditionally found in enterprise-class switches.
Available in 2 different port densities, 16 or 32 x 1G SFP, both of which include 10Gb SFP+ ports and 2 dedicated hardware stacking ports capable of providing up to 160Gbps stacking bandwidth to support small and medium-sized enterprise environments. With cloud management, thousands of switch ports can be configured and monitored instantly, over the web. Provision remote sites without on-site IT, deploy network-wide configuration changes, and easily manage campus and distributed networks without training or dedicated staff.
MS410-32 Features
Built-In Multi-Site Cloud Management
The Meraki MS410-32 Kenya is cloud managed switch, combining the benefits of cloud based centralized management with a powerful, reliable access platform. Cloud management has a number of benefits that make it easier to build networks large and small:
- Virtual stacking: manage up to tens of thousands of ports from a single pane of glass.
- Layer 7 OS, client, and hostname fingerprinting.
- Powerful Live Tools such as cable test to isolate physical layer issues.
- E-mail and SMS (text) alerts upon power loss, downtime, or configuration changes.
- Role-based administration and automatic, scheduled firmware upgrades over the web.
- Regular feature updates and enhancements delivered on demand from the Meraki cloud.
- No staging deployments
Converged Voice, Video and Data Environments
The Meraki MS410-32 Kenya is designed to unify data, voice, and video onto a single IP backbone. All Cisco Meraki switches support rich quality-of-service (QoS) functionality for prioritizing data, voice, and video traffic. The switches support eight class-of-service (CoS) queues on every port, enabling them to maintain end-to-end traffic prioritization.
Lifetime Warranty with Next-day Advanced Replacement
Meraki Network Switches Kenya include a limited lifetime hardware warranty that provides next-day advance hardware switch replacement as long as the original purchaser owns the product. Meraki’s simplified software and support licensing model also combines all software upgrades, centralized systems management and phone support under a single, easy-to-understand model.
Centrally Managed from the Cloud
The Meraki Cloud Networking architecture enables plug and play branch deployments and provides centralized visibility and control across any number of distributed locations. The Cisco Meraki MS is the industry’s first cloud managed switch, combining the benefits of cloud-based centralized management with a powerful, reliable access platform. With cloud management, thousands of switch ports can be configured and monitored instantly, over the web. Provision remote sites without on-site IT, deploy network-wide configuration changes, and easily manage campus and distributed networks without training or dedicated staff.
Virtual Stacking
Cisco Meraki MS Switches feature virtual stacking — an industry first — that allows management of thousands of switch ports as one, without requiring a physical connection between switches. Quickly find and configure switch ports across your entire network, even those in geographically-distributed locations. Easily configure ports for access devices, assign voice VLANs, control PoE, and more, with a few simple clicks and without complex CLI instructions. Virtual stacking is built-in to all Cisco Meraki MS Switches, with no need for extension modules, proprietary cables, or extra configuration. Simply log in to the Meraki dashboard and manage the entire access switch infrastructure without concern for their interconnectivity.
Layer 7 Application and Client Visibility
Meraki MS Switches are the industry’s only switches featuring integrated Layer 7 application and client fingerprinting and analysis. Hundreds of applications are automatically identified and reported, from business apps to BitTorrent and YouTube, so administrators can see where resources are spent. Device fingerprinting with Google-like search allows administrators to easily find and identify individual users, iPads, Androids, and other devices. Search for devices across the entire network right from the Cisco Meraki dashboard, no matter which switch a device connects to.
Layer 3 Scalability & Failover
Quickly scale growing networks while ensuring redundancy for critical switch infrastructure with Meraki layer 3 switches. Intuitive, dynamic routing configurable in the dashboard simplifies management by removing complex command line interfaces. Traffic flow is optimized at line rate without sacrificing deep visibility into client devices and application use. Deploy ACLs directly on MS switches to secure boundaries between VLANs, hosts, services, and the Internet. In addition to dynamic routing, layer 3 Meraki MS switches support VRRP for warm spare failover, ensuring immediate recovery of gateway responsibilities—avoiding downtime and client disruption.
